I am in Monterrey, Mexico to attend Positive Design Workshop. One idea that resonates with me is “Design by all for all.”
I’m curious to know the reason behind using the word “Positive”.
That was one central theme of discussion, in fact. Simply put, it has two elements. First, it focuses on positive outcomes for greater goods, rather than focusing on immediate solution for smaller circle of stakeholders. Second, it focuses on aligning and magnifying the dormant strengths of individuals in an organization to the extent the deficiencies of the organizations become irrelevant.
