reframing: vision

One of the most challenging things in life perhaps is seeing things from a different perspective. We always see things in the "correct" way and in an appropriate way. It usually is the same way that we always think about. One of the reasons that I like taking pictures is that it is a powerful reminder that we can re-frame things. When you take the camera away from your eyes and start taking pictures, you begin to see things in an inappropriate way and non-proper way. That's when the fun begins.

To re-frame, one also needs to de-frame. The world in which we live has no frame. It is unbounded possibilities of connections and expansion. De-framing is an active re-immersion back into the context. Only then, we can begin to re-frame.
