idea and curiosity

An idea is dangerous. Curiosity is good.

An artist, Robert Rauschenberg once said, "I don't have any idea — I just have curiosity." It is an interesting tension. Fully knowing what it is that we are dealing with and simply having curiosity about the stuff that we had to deal with. People who have curiosity will approach to things with a very different mindset. As I become more and more habituated in an environment, I become less curios. What are some of the antidotes for the loss of curiosity?
